This fly was invented for the North Platte near the North Park area. In recent months I have been fishing this fly in the Roaring Fork valley and Yampa River with fantastic results. A perfect playground to test this fly as the rivers are abundant with stones and very clear, lending to precise imitations. Tied with a tungsten bead this fly gets down quick in the fast stuff where fish often gorge on stones.
