The Blitz is a fast action rod, with a mid-level of stiffness to deliver heavy lines, and large flies at distance. This is ideal for anglers fishing long intermediate and sinking lines and weighted flies. The result is that the Blitz series fly rods stabilize faster and smoother, absorb shock better and comfortably tolerate over-loading. The angler benefits because Axiom technology virtually eliminates the ability to overpower the rod when casting.

TFO has taken all the great things about their popular Signature Series, combined it with the hard-charging, fish fighting power of their Tough Fly Rod (TFR) and developed a new series. These moderate action, two-piece models feature a black anodized up-locking aluminum reel seat, a composite cork handle with accents, standard sized stripping guides and a translucent dark green blank finish. Two-weight through 6-weight rods feature carbon reel seat inserts.
