This Carolina North 10001-12 ratchet with rope and hook is a locking tie-down for securing loads or hoisting. It has a zinc-plated steel hook for strength and resistance to corrosion and a glass-filled nylon outer casting for resistance to wear. The rope is braided polyester for strength and is 1/8 in diameter and 6 in length. This rope ratchet has a thumb release for quick detachment and has a 75-lb. capacity.

The Carolina North Mfg. Inc. 0.25 inch Rope Ratchet (10016) is a solid tool for securing objects in place when used with compatible cords (sold separately). The utility is made from steel and features a large hook for securing to large objects. Add this ratchet pulley to a vehicle, a frame or a range of other objects and put pressure on a rope effectively. It is designed to work with twine and other thin types of cordage, but none is included with the product.
